This is the second time I've purchased this particular blend. It's always been a solid choice for not only espresso, but several other methods of brewing. Bold and rich, yet entirely approachable, this will likely be a go-to for me for a long time.

This stuff tastes great. Not much more to say. Piping hot with a bit of cream matches or beats many bougie coffee shops.
Ground beans and K cups are both pleasant drinkers. I made a cup hot then stuck it in the fridge for a mock "cold brew" for the next day, as well as a hot cup for the next day. Had two cups because I was about to spend time on the freeway for an hours-long event. Hot drink: went perfectly with my breakfast; it's smooth without being overly bitter or metallic that you'd find with most commercial medium roasts. No judgment; I've had my fair share of 7-11/fast food coffee, and more than enough diner coffee and, let's just day, "S-bux" to last a lifetime. There's nothing inherently wrong with those, but they can be inconsistent, and even bags you buy for home tend to have a touch more bitterness to them. Not just the robustness of coffee, but that lingering bitterness on your tongue.
The Itasha brew does still have bitterness (it's coffee, after all), but it doesn't stay on the tongue. It's rich, and the hazelnut is not overpowering. The smell is pleasant, and as someone who generally goes for plain coffee, this hazelnut has just enough smell in the bouquet to make sips enjoyable. I thought I "outgrew" things like macadamia nut and vanilla beans, but it turns out I just needed to find a brew that wasn't trying to punch me in the nose with overly-scented flavors.
Hot was perfect for my morning breakfast and chill. Cold with ice was almost too easy to chug. If you like cold coffee, I recommend trying it over ice or with a splash of cold water once it's been chilled from hot, unless you're doing a proper cold brew.
Caffeine content seems standard; best guess is 90 or so mg per 8 oz (a rough standard for a medium roast with Arabica beans). Side effects from 30 ounces in a short span include singing an R&B rendition of "Never Gonna Give You Up" at the top of your lungs while driving on the freeway. Or maybe that's just me.
Would recommend.

So far so good, but they asked for a review during my birthmonth...coffee club members are supposed to get a bday gft, and i didnt get anything? Pretty disappointed about that. Coffee is good though

The flavor is amazing and this is the only company I've found who makes an Ube flavored coffee. While it takes a while to arrive and the shop app is deceiving on the true arrival date, you are guaranteed freshly ground coffee made in small batches. My husband teases me about drinking "gooner coffee" but the flavor selection and freshness can't be beat.
I’m not usually one for flavored coffee but the few samples I had while working at the same venue really made a big impression. The flavor is subtle and not overpowering. Just sweet enough to not need any sugar and not be a boring cup of black coffee. Very impressed with the quality of the package and the quantity for the price. Would happily purchase many more flavors to find my favorite.

Guys, this is a winner if you love coffee. But if you want something that is just a bit different, not overwhelming, and completely delicious, I think you'll love this one. What it is: a lovely roasted coffee that I have absolutely no complaints about, with a mild touch of toffee flavor, well blended in. What is isn't: this isn't sweetened, not overdone, no exaggerated flavors. Even if you don't normally drink your coffee black, you might be tempted to, but I admit a touch of cream or almond milk wouldn't go amiss with this brew. They really outdid themselves here. I ordered extra, I was so impressed.

Loved the very first bag I ordered at a convention! When I ordered online and received the same flavor I was excited to dig in! However opening the bag the smell was pungent, I still brewed it hoping it was just my nose and unfortunately the coffee was very bitter and unpleasant so much so we tossed it. Opening the 2nd bag and was hoping the 2nd bag wasn’t the same and it was. I was bummed because it was really good the first time I had it! I don’t if something changed but I will not get this flavor again. The blueberries and cream was wonderful from the order of 3 bags. I’ve enjoyed your coffee but Leary on ordering more due to. Those two bags.
